FIRST WOMEN'S AMERICAN WRESTLING COMPETITION HELD IN SAUDI ARABIA

Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Lacey Evans, a former U.S. Marine and two-time WWE World Champion, and Canadian American Natalya, a two-time WWE World Champion, appeared in the ring in Saudi Arabia. In the competition, Natalya defeated Evans.

Evans and Natalya went into the ring in an outfit that covered their arms and legs, unlike normal show matches.

Saudi Arabia, which has long been the focus of criticism over the rights afforded to women, has recently also allowed women to drive cars and women to enter sports competitions in stadiums as spectators.

However, women in Saudi Arabia continue to be discriminated against, according to a report by human Rights Watch. The report says 4 feminist activists are in prison, while many are still in court.
