News Center -TDO-A farewell reception was held at the newly built embassy building for Libyan Ambassador Abdurrezak Mukhtar Ahmed Abdulkadir, whoseterms of office in Turkey ended.
The reception in the embassy building was attended by Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, Deputy Foreign Minister Yavuz Selim Kıran, diplomatic mission chiefs in Ankara and invited guests.
Ambassador Abdulkadir, speaking here, said he was coming to the end of his mission to Libya's embassy in Ankara, which he has held since January 2012.
Ambassador Abdulkadir stated that Turkey and Libya have close relations in many areas, especially in the fields of security, economy and education, and that they have a strong will to further develop these relations.
Ambassador Abdülkadir thanked Turkish officials, especially President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and wished for the continuation of the friendship of the Turkish and Libyan peoples.
