Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Aramco, one of the major oil companies based in Saudi Arabia, has taken control of the fire that started after the drone attack in two refineries.
Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry said in a statement that the flames rising from Abqaiq and Khurais oil settlements were controlled early in the morning.
The Houthis, one of the parties to the civil war in Yemen, took over the attack on the refineries. In a statement made by the Houthis group, it was announced that the oil refineries were attacked with 10 drones.
Last July, a fire broke out at the Aramco oil refinery in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Aramco officials reported a technical failure in the accident.
