Adel Tayari -TDO- (TUNISIA) While the crisis in the Arabian Gulf between Saudi Arabia and the UAE on the one hand and Qatar on the other hand the efforts of the authorities in Saudi Arabia and the UAE to mobilize political support to involve Qatar in financing terrorism and support extremist movements to destabilize the security of the Gulf countries according to the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The documents leaked in Tunisia, prepared by the "Centre for Maghreb Studies" on June 1, the current of the "Emirates Centre for Policy" which is a centre for future studies and strategy related to the UAE intelligence provides research papers proposing the UAE's foreign policies contain very serious data on plans to support the influence of the UAE in Tunisia, and the resulting infiltration in the Tunisian scene, especially the political, and the violation of national security and the violation of national sovereignty and the infringement of the transitional path and the authority of the people and also hit what the document considered the influence of Qatar in Tunisia.
The leaked document is divided into two parts. The first identifies the situation in Tunisia on the economic, social and political levels, and places the party of the movement "Ennahdha" and Qatar at the top of the list of "enemies”, the second part is the mechanism for rooting Emirati influence, and the parties on which the UAE will rely to pass its project in Tunisia. The summary of the document is how to support the influence of the UAE in Tunisia, and curb the influence of Qatar, which is considered by the author of the document escalated after the revolution, especially economically, as well as its media and cultural presence, the document also regarded Qatar as a "strong ally of the Ennahdha Movement" in addition to the strong direct relations of Rashad al-Ghannouchi, head of the Nahdha movement in Qatar with the Prince Tamim Bin Hamad and the Qatari government.
In particular, the document focused on building a pro-UAE policy bloc. Mohsen Marzouq, head of the Tunis Project Party, chose to be the leader of this bloc by financially backing his party to build a broad political alliance against the Tunisian government.
In addition to Mohsen Marzouq, other names were highlighted, including Ahmed Najib Chebbi, head of the Republican Party, with a focus on the trade union organizations, the Tunisian General Union of Labour and the Union of Industry and Commerce (organization of customs) and support the media, "liberal orientation”. The UAE plan is also open to the most important components of civil society, especially the left-wing approach, which rejects the Ennahdha movement and collides with counter-revolutionary forces in Tunisia. The UAE plan to boost UAE influence in Tunisia and curb Qatari influence focused on economic and media penetration and intellectual forums, focusing on "building economic and financial partnerships that create a political balance of power," relying on "influential" businessmen, on the media level, it was proposed to support a "rival media pole" for Qatar, which includes radio stations and a daily newspaper known for its leftist tendencies. And the funding of cultural and intellectual forums, the support of the Foundation of "believers without borders" and the coordination with the "House of Wisdom" headed by Abdul Majid Sharafi anti-political Islam, to confront the forums supported by Qatar, headed by the "Arab Centre for Research and Policy Studies and "East Forum".
The document also stressed that if did not move quickly to weaken the Ennahdha movement it is in an open way to dominate the political scene of Tunisia, through "closer alliance with the constitutional bloc" internally and also through "the consolidation of relations with Algeria," externally, In addition to "opening channels of dialogue with Western countries," especially France, the United States, Britain and Germany through successive visits to the President of the Ennahdha Movement to those countries and others and presenting it to a different image than what the UAE wants to offer about the Islamic movements as extremist and supportive of terrorism. The document noted that Ghannouchi's lectures in those countries and his talks with officials had established the idea that the Ennahdha movement is a moderate movement that does not oppose the West and does not reject democracy,in addition to the strong relations between the Ennahdha Movement and Turkey and the penetration of the Ennahdha in the departments and institutions of the Tunisian state. All of this is, of course, from the point of view of the UAE document
the dangerous and which confirms the conspiracy of the UAE on the security of Tunisia and its territorial integrity. The document focuses on the fragility of the economic and social situation and plans to raise the level of tension and protests until the Tunisian state loses control of the situation as happened a few weeks ago in the south of Tunisia, when tensions rose, leading to the announcement by the Tunisian government of the status of oil facilities under the protection of the army.
This document revealed that the UAE caused all the social problems and protests in Tunisia and that it seeks to control the joints of the Tunisian state and hit the popular will to spoil the democratic process by striking public security and social stability. Which prompted many Tunisians to call for an official inquiry into the contents of this document and to hold its "executive arms" in Tunisia which proves that the document has a suspicious relationship with the UAE intelligence, which wants to thwart the democratic process in Tunisia and succeeded in his failure in Egypt through the military coup against Mohamed Morsi elected from the people Or dragged the Tunisians into a devastating chaos, as happened in Libya, where the UAE gave Khalifa Hafter all forms of financial and military support to thwart the Skhirat agreement in Morocco and prevent the Libyans from agreeing to resolve the crisis of their country.
