COVID-19: COUNTRIES ON DIFFERENT CONTINENTS ANNOUNCE THEIR FIRST DEATHS

Selin ATAY-TDO- 2 people have died from coronavirus in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). A ministry statement said one of those who died was a citizen of an Arab country (78) from Europe and the other was a 58-year-old resident of the UAE from Asian countries. According to the latest official data, there are 140 cases of coronavirus in the country.

The first case of death due to the new type coronavirus (Covid-19) has occurred in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The number of cases in Bosnia-Herzegovina rose to 93, with the death of the elderly woman recorded as the first casualty.

Meanwhile, a curfew was imposed at 20.00-05.00 in Republika Srpska, one of the two entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the highest number of Kovid-19 cases. People over 65 are also banned from going out during the day. The same application was proposed to be launched in the country's other entity, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

An outbreak of the new type coronavirus (Covid-19) in the South American country of Paraguay has left a 69-year-old man dead. President Mario Abdo Benitez announced that the quarantine, which was declared in the country from 10 March to 4 April, for the hours of 20:00-04:00, had been extended to 12 April. There have been 18 cases of Kovid-19 in Paraguay.

Two people have died due to the new type coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Southeast Asian country of Singapore. Health Minister Gan Kim Yong said one of those who died was a 75-year-old Singaporean woman and the other a 64-year-old Indonesian national. There have been 385 cases of Kovid-19 so far across Singapore.
