Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Canadian leave from Queen Elizabeth II has been issued for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle, who have announced their decision to withdraw from their senior membership in the royal family.
Queen Elizabeth II announced on Monday (yesterday) that she had given her consent to her grandson Harry and his wife's request to spend half the year in Canada and the other half in the UK.
The Queen said the meeting had been positive as she met her grandchildren Prince Harry, Prince William and son Prince Charles to draw a road map for the future.
The 93-year-old Queen said in a post-interview statement: "My Family and I are from start to finish supporters of Harry and Meghan's aspirations to build a new life as a young family."
Stressing that there would be a transition period for Harry and Meghan to live in Canada and the UK, The Queen added that there were complex issues to be resolved.
