Mustafa AY – TDO – 30.09.2017 Octave Klaba, who is French hosting company named OVH’s CEO, was under surveillance by British GCHQ. This allegation came from former NSA operatives. According to their allegations, in May 2019, British GCHQ unpredictably acquired abundant of emails in a test of satellite. Those acquired emails were reportedly belonging to many European and African politicians and bureaucrats. GCHQ interestingly got French hosting company OVH’s CEO’s emails as well.
Even if GCHQ was allegedly spying on Klaba over electronic media, the reason GCHQ was keeping him under surveillance has a reasonable ground for it. GCHQ also commenced this illegitimate initiative, following American NSA’s initial attempts at watching French telecommunication and internet hosting giants. They began this effort because NSA desired for steering post-depression (in 2008) politics on behalf of their own interest. The same political desire was shared by British government who is closest ally of USA. Therefore, British and NSA seems to be in collaboration with one another, with the aim of spying and accordingly attaining many datas that are belonging to European politicians and bureaucrats.
