Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Britain has decided to resume arms sales to Saudi Arabia, despite assessments and criticism that it could be used against international law.

UK International Trade Minister Liz Truss testified that they were reconsidering the terms of granting arms export licences to Saudi Arabia under a court order last year.

Secretary Truss confirmed that credible sources have confirmed some of the worrying events about the possibility of Saudi military forces using weapons imported from the UK in violation of international law. However, the government considers these events to be exceptional, Liz Truss said, adding that the government would restart arms exports to Saudi Arabia and its coalition partners, which have been disrupted for more than a year due to a court order.
