Serhat TUNAR -TDO- The Brexit bill, which would mean Britain leaving the European Union, has been passed in the London Parliament.
The British parliament approved the Brexit deal by 330 votes to 231. Britain is expected to formally leave the European Union on January 31, 2020.
The amendments submitted during the negotiations, granting permanent residence permits to citizens of the European Union and granting the right of appeal to citizens of the European Union whose application for residence permits has been rejected, were rejected.
In addition, the motion to protect the right to family reunification of child refugees with whom they are not adults was not accepted.
The bill will then be debated in the House of Lords. The government, which does not want any amendments, expects the process here to be completed by 22 January so that the bill before 31 January will receive the approval of Queen Elizabeth II.
