AZERBAIJAN TO IMPOSE CURFEW AMID CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

Aslıhan DOĞRU -TDO- In Azerbaijan, a curfew was declared against a new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.

Azerbaijan's Council of Ministers said in a statement that the public can only go out to dispose of shopping and household waste from businesses that are allowed to operate in case of urgent medical needs, life and health. .

As per decision, all shops and restaurants will be closed except for grocery stores and pharmacies from March 31 to 00:00 on April 20.

All entertainment centers, museums, cinemas, theatres, gyms, hairdressers and beauty salons, tailors and photographers will be closed until April 20.

Condolence ceremonies, weddings and parties will not be held at the specified dates, except for the burial bay.

A number of industry workers such as health, infrastructure, transport and logistics, supply production, oil and gas, banking are reportedly excluded from the ban.

Members of the press will also be able to go out and carry out their activities.

So far, 273 cases of coronavirus have been detected in the country, 4 people have died, 26 cases have been discharged and 243 patients are being treated.
