Serhat TUNAR -TDO- A warrant has been issued for his arrest after Pakistan's former Prime Minister, Navaz Sharif, failed to attend the corruption trial in which he is being tried.

The High Court had warned that former Prime Minister Navaz Sharif, who is in London for treatment, should return to the country by September 10 to appear at a corruption trial, or he would be declared a fugitive.

However, Nawaz Sharif's daughter, Maryam Nawaz, had announced that her father could return to the country after his treatment was completed or doctors allowed him to travel.
