AGREEMENT REACHED TO FORM LEFT-WING COALITION GOVERNMENT IN SPAIN

Serhat TUNAR -TDO- An agreement was reached for the formation of a left-wing coalition government in Spain that would end the 246-day period of non-government and constitute the first in the country's history.

The programme for a left-wing coalition government between the Socialist Workers ' Party (PSOE) and the far-left Unidas Podemos Alliance, which emerged as the First party in the country's November 10th general election, has been announced.

PSOE leader Pedro Sánchez Roque Podemos leader Pablo Iglesias in the Legislature and with interim prime minister introduced the government programme, the rich more tax, an increase in the minimum wage, the regulation of exorbitant rent increases, the major part of the reforms made by the government to the right, past the cancellation of education and labour, the removal of the national plan against corruption, against violence against women in the country and the promises and restrictive new measures to combat climate change was one of the games of chance.
