ZIMBABWEAN SUPREME COURT DISMISSED MAIN OPPOSITION’S REQUEST FOR ANNULMENT OF RESULTS OF GENERAL ELECTIONS




Mustafa AY – TDO – 25.08.2018 On Friday, Zimbabwean Supreme Court dismissed country’s main opposition party’s filing for annulment of results of general elections. Main opposition party’s leader Nelson Chamisa impeached Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his Zanu-PF for rigging in general elections. However, Supreme Court found the proofs that Chamisa presented insufficient and unclear, so dismissed the charges.
