ZIMBABWE’S NEW PRESIDENT’S PROMISING REMARKS




Mustafa AY – TDO – 25.11.2017 In the wake of Robert Mugabe’s obligatory resignation from presidential office, former vice-president Emmerson Mnangagwa took oath for taking office in front of 70.000 people in Capital Harare’s main sports stadium. He made many promising remarks like handling corruption and bribery and compensating the reimbursable losses of farmers. President Mnangagwa also pledged for ‘free-fair’ election scheduled to the next year. After he vowed to fulfill his promises, people in the stadium echoed stadium with calls for new President’s name.
