Mustafa AY – TDO – 20.09.2018 USA’s special envoy for Iran, Brian Hook, stated that Washington has an intention to negotiate with Tehran on the matter of Iran’s nuclear ballistic missile programme. The purpose of negotiations of Washington is to reach a consensus and accordingly sign a nuclear treaty with Iran. US Special Envoy Hook made those vital remarks ahead of UN’s General Assembly’s meeting in next week.
Following Trump Administration’s withdrawal from 5+1 Iran Nuclear Accord in this year, President Trump literally strived for renewing heavy sanctions on Iran. Afterwards, Washington has recently launched an inciting campaign to impede Iran’s export of crude oil to world, which resulted in complete rupture of bilateral diplomatic affairs. After this, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Hamaney fairly stated “I made a mistake by allowing Iranian government to negotiate with USA in 2015”, which literally means ‘no more credit on USA’. Hamaney’s words must be the reason why Hook complained about Iran’s indifference to Trump’s call for nuclear negotiations.
