Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Regarding the fire break out in a Russian submarine and 14 sailors lost their lives in the fire, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that it was a big loss for Russia and the Russian army. Vladimir Putin and Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu, who canceled the routine program due to a fire in the Russian submarine, met to discuss the issue.
After the meeting, the President of Russia made statements on the subject and said that the burning submarine is not an ordinary ship, among the 14 sailors who died seven first-level captain and two of these captains have the Russian Hero medal.
Wishing condolences to the relatives of the deceased sailors, Vladimir Putin asked Shoygu to provide the necessary assistance to the survivors and the families of the dead sailors, to personally take care of the investigation and report on the accident.
In a written statement from the Ministry of Defense of Russia, it was stated that there was a fire outbreak in the Russian Navy underwater research ship yesterday.
It is known that the fire broke out during biometric measurements and that 14 seafarers lost their lives.
