News Center –TDO- Vietnam’s Ambassador to Turkey Tran Quang Tuyen and his spouse hosted the “Vietnamese Cultural Days” reception at Ankara Sheraton Hotel on the purpose of celebrating the 40th anniversary of ‘Vietnamese-Turkish Diplomatic Relations’.
Ambassador Tuyen and other Embassy personnel greeted the guests with their traditional clothes. The guest list of the reception included heads of foreign missions, bureaucrats, academicians and local journalists.
Ambassador Tuyen said in his opening speech: “2018 is 40th anniversary of Vietnamese-Turkish Diplomatic Relations. In last years, relations between these two countries are getting better.
Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Chairperson of the Vietnamese Parliament, was in Ankara in October. Also Chairperson of the Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım visited Vietnam last year. These visits strengthen the bilateral relations.”
The reception ended after a short concert by the Ambassador Tuyen and other Embassy personnel and samples of traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
Vietnam Embassy is going to host “Vietnamese Cuisine Days” until 13th of December at Sheraton Hotel as part of “Vietnamese Cultural Days”. “
