Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Alirıza Miryusufi, the spokesman of Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, announced that the United States has granted visas to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who applied to attend the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York.
Iranian official said that Foreign Minister Zarif on Friday (today) and President Rouhani will go to New York next week.
The 74th General Assembly of the United Nations, which began on Tuesday, will continue until 27 September. The leaders' summit will begin on September 24th.
Rouhani, recently announced that the United States does not give him a visa within a few hours, said the United Nations General Assembly meeting will not be thrown.
As it is known, Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif, who went to the United States to attend another United Nations meeting in recent months, was given a limited visa by the US, and Iranian Foreign Minister was not allowed to leave the United Nations building and the office of Iran's permanent representative office.
