News Center -TDO- The Milky Way exhibition about relations between Ukraine and Crimean Tatar cultures opened in Ankara.
The opening ceremony at CerModern was attended by a large number of local and foreign guests, as well as Ukrainian Ambassador to Ankara Andrii Sybiha, President of the Crimean Turks Culture and Solidarity Association Mükremin Şahin, and Milky Way Exhibition Curator Georgiy Braylovsky.
Speaking here, Ambassador Sybiha said that the exhibition emphasized the importance of the exhibition, pointing out that the Milky Way exhibit brought the relations between the Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian peoples into the foreground.
Sybiha emphasized that the symbolic importance of the exhibition name is due to the fact that the salt trade between Ukraine and Crimean peninsula was done by looking at the stars and the stars between the two regions were given the name "Milky Way".
Ambassador Sybiha pointed out that the Crimean Tatars continued their struggle against the repression throughout history and said that the works belonging to the Crimean Tatar culture are important.
