Hassam Hameed-TDO-08.01.2018- Senior officials of US administration have come forward to dismiss the portrayal of US President Donald Trump as unfit for the office in latest controversial book, Fire and Fury written by Michael Wolff. One labeled him as ‘political genius’.
CIA chief Mike Pompeo told to Fox news that this whole portrayal is ‘Pure fantasy’. US ambassador to UN Nikki Haley told ABC that none in the white house "questions the stability of the president". Policy advisor of Mr. Trump Stephen Miller labelled him as a “political genius”. Former strategist Steve bannon, who is extensively quoted in the book, is appearing to make amends to his previous statements by calling Donald Junior “a patriot and a good man”. UK Prime minister Theresa May also dismissed worries over the state of Trump’s mental health.
Book is based on 200 interviews and fly-on-the-wall access to white house. Wolff has defended his work by claiming that he did not violate any off-the-record agreements.
