Mustafa AY - TDO On Friday, the US Department of Commerce announced to temporarily scale back the ban on commercial activities -like buying gear and software from US tech firms- of Chinese telecommunication giant 'Huawei' in USA. Because US beneficiaries of network and other services provided by Huawei suffered from interruption of network service in the states of Wyoming and Oregon. Therefore, Washington issued temporary mitigation of bans referring only to selling gear and provision of network service.
On Thursday, US President Donald Trump issued the ban halting all commercial activities of Huawei on the grounds that Chinese company has been accused of fabricating US tech, spying on US society and managing to become leading supplier of tech equipment by leaving its US- based rivals behind in unlawful ways. Pointing out abovementioned reasons, President Trump decided to take Huawei into commercial blacklist since Chinese company allegedly poses threat to USA' national security.
