Mustafa AY – TDO- On Monday, Swedish Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions - Eva-Marie Persson - will commence a judicial inquiry to investigate rape allegations that Wikileaks Co-founder Julian Assange faces with. In accordance with the course of inquiry, Assange will be likely sued by Swedish Judicial authorities. Persson stated that, under European Arrest Warrant Protocol, Swedish Department of Justice appealed British authorities to extradite Assange to Stockholm for the start of judgement.
In case of Britain's acceptance of official request of extradition of Assange, Persson underlined the fact that Assange will be processed though long-lasting public prosecution. The US also appealed British authorities for Assange' extradition so that he could be judged for charges of Conspiracy to perpetrate computer intrusion and disclose state secrets in USA, Persson continued her statement.
Julian Assange could manage to flee arrest warrants of various states across the world since he exposed many states' confidential. At the final phase of his long escape, Assange sought refuge from Ecuador's embassy to London which resulted in acceptance for seven years. However, when his refuge expired, Assange was apprehended without waste of time by British police. Once he was detained, British judicial authorities sentenced him to imprisonment to be served in Belmar’s prison for 50 weeks.
