Right after Saudi airstrike, Red Cross Committee proclaimed the fact that 50 civilians including in 29 children were murdered by Saudi Royal Air Forces’ bombardment. In the aftermath of official announcement of Red Cross, the number of murdered children exceeded 40 according to locals’ claims. On Saturday, Riyadh administration obligatorily has to acknowledge the responsibility of all deaths in the airstrike since they cannot put up with the pressure stemming from airstrike inquiry that UN commenced with aim of revealing the truth. According to official’s statement by Saudi Arabia, those accountable for the airstrike will be prosecuted by Saudi judicial.
In the aftermath of rapid dissemination of airstrike-related news across the World, Saudi Arabia immediately confronted with denouncement by international community. UN Secretary of General Antonio Guterres underscored the necessity of an independent and impartial inquiry so as to enlighten the airstrike against Yemeni civilians. After Guterres’ call, UN commenced its probe over Saudi Arabia. In face of all progresses, Riyadh administration pointed out Yemeni insurgents –Shia Houthis- as responsible for deaths of children and deemed the air raid against the bus as ‘legitimate’.
