PAPUA NEW GUINEA SHAKEN BY A 6.3 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE




Mustafa AY – TDO – 25.03.2018 US Geological Survey Agency (UGSA) shared a progress that the north-east coasts of Papua New Guinea was shaken by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake. UGSA officials stated that the earthquake didn’t trigger natural phenomenon of tsunami fortunately, which would have killed hundreds or even thousands. As a result of the earthquake, nobody got killed and even injured as well as the buildings remained undamaged. Prior to this earthquake, Papua New Guinea confronted with a 7.6 magnitude earthquake, which killed over 100 people and left many building demolished.
