PAKISTANI PARLIAMENT ELECTED THE COUNTRY’S NEW PRESIDENT




Mustafa AY – TDO – 05.09.2018 On Tuesday, Pakistani Parliament elected the country’ new president. As a result of voting in parliament, Arif Alvi appeared to become the country’s new president. He is expected to take the office from current President Mamnoon Hussain on September 9 when Hussain’ll complete his 5-year term for presidential office. Pakistani PM Imran Khan nominated Arif Alvi from his party ‘Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’ to presidential election in parliament.
