Ambassador Saparbekuly stated that the name of independent and modern Kazakhstan was identified with the name of NursultanNazarbayev. "In 1991, Nazarbayev was liberated between the economic and political ruins of the Soviet Union, but he took over Kazakhstan, which faced major internal and external threats" Mr. Ambassador added.
Saparbekuly also said that Kazakhstan has reached a high middle-welfare level today and has been recognized by the UN as a country with very high human development. Ambassador Saparbekuly reminded that his country plays a leading role in the Turkish world and in the international arena and hosts significant peaks.
Saparbekulyalso pointed out that KasımJomartTokayev, who has been the president of Kazakhstan since March 20, 2019, is also a very experienced statesman and elite diplomat.
Saparbekuly reminded that Kazakhstan presidential elections will be held in June and hoped that the new president to be elected will continue their successes just like the Nazarbayev period.
Ambassador Saparbekuly stated that in the new period, Kazakhstan will take important steps in the field of economy, multi-faceted, balanced and peaceful foreign policy will continue to strengthen the ties with the Turkish world and will complete the transition to the Latin alphabet.
In his speech at the event, YalçınTopçu, Chief Advisor to the President, said, “Kazakhstan rises as and rising star in the region and this will continue." Mr. Topçu also added that Kazakhstan has also become the center of energy and trade.
