METHODS OF CONFLICT IN ASYMMETRICAL WARFARE






With its roots centuries in the past, “asymmetrical warfare” or, in other words, guerrilla warfare, continues to update itself an remain as a force in today’s world. On the other hand, methods of combating asymmetrical warfare have not developed at the same pace and offer few solutions short of territorial annexation. Meanwhile, military strategies and defence techniques which has become reflective and reactionary over the years are ineffective against small militia groups who can strike anywhere, at any time and in many ways. Furthermore, given that militia forces are generally organised as “starfish”, armies, which have in their arsenal tans, jets and the latest intelligence equipment can fail against them.
