KREMLIN EXPECTS OFFICIAL APOLOGY FROM NORWAY




Mustafa AY – TDO – 21.10.2018 On 21st of September, Mikhail Bochkaryov –a staff of Russia’s upper house of parliament Federation Council- was detained over suspicion of espionage by Norwegian authorities. On Friday, Bochkaryov was released from detention upon Oslo District Court’s refusal to police’s request for extension of custody. Following Bochkaryov’s release, Russian diplomatic officials brought him to the embassy building in Oslo. On Saturday, Russian Foreign Ministry stated that they expect official apology from Norwegian authorities for all mistreatments towards his citizen.
