News Center -TDO-Kazakhstani Ambassador to Turkey Abzal Saparbekulı hosted an event in the Kazakhstan Embassy in Ankara on the occasionsof “Kazakhstan Gratitude Day” and book launchof the books being translated into Turkish by Şerbanu Beysenova, a famous Kazakh woman author.
Ambassador Abzal Saparbekulı, Chief Advisor to the President of the Presidency Yalçın Topçu, Türksoy Secretary General Dusen Kaseinov, author Şerbanu Beysenova, Chief Editor of Baldırğan Magazine Düisen Mağlumov, President of the Union of Eurasian Authors Assoc. Dr. Yakup Ömeroğlu and many other guests attended to the event.
The event started with the opening speech of Ambassador Saparbekulı after the national anthems of the two countries. Ambassador Saparbekulı celebrated the 1st of March “Kazakhstan Gratitude Day” in his speech, which was announced by the Decree of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev on 14 January 2016.
Chief Advisor to the President of the Presidency YalçınTopçu expressed his gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev for the Special Medal of Kazakhstan Independence Day and congratulated the Kazakhstan Gratitude Day.
Author Şerbanu Beysenova, Chief Editor of Baldırğan Magazine Düisen Mağlumov, Assoc. Dr. Yakup Ömeroğlu and Translator Assoc. Dr. Cemile Kınacı made statements to the guests about the books translated into Turkish.
Author Şerbanu Beysenova signed the books that she translated and the event ended after a mini concerts.
1 March Gratitude Day is the festival of the people who live shoulder to shoulder in the spirit of unity and solidarity of all ethnic groups in Kazakhstan. It is the day of goodness, compassion, love, peace and friendship.
