JAPAN IN PREPARATION TO SUSPEND ITS CRUDE OIL IMPORT FROM IRAN

Mustafa AY – TDO – 04.09.2018 Owing to US sanctions over Iran to impede Tehran’s business relations with foreign nations, Japan is allegedly preparing to suspend its crude oil import from Iran in October. Even if Tokyo is literally compelled to suspend its oil import from Iran, they are seeking for a way to reach a waiver with US administration so that they could manage to get rid of prospective commercial sanctions such as extra tariffs by Washington. In case of reaching a waiver, Japan would have a chance to perpetuate its oil business with Iran.
