News Centre -TDO As part of the Ankara Piano Festival, the Israeli Embassy has hosted world renowned pianist Boris Giltburg at the Presidential Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall on November 24th.
The Ankara Piano Festival, which is organised by Altus Culture and Arts, began with a magnificent recital by Boris Giltburg.
Born in Moscow in 1984, Boris Giltburg moved to Tel Aviv at a young age and trained first with his mother and later with Arie Vardi. Recipient of a number of awards, Giltburg was most recently given a prize at Rubinstein and in 2013 won the Queen Elizabeth Competition Award, taking his career to new heights.
The concert was attended by ambassadors and many guests.
