IRAN CONFRONTED WITH THE SECOND EARTHQUAKE WITHIN A MONTH




Mustafa AY -TDO – 03.12.2017 Within the last month, Iran has just been shaken by another earthquake following November 12’nd when the first 7,2 magnitude earthquake broke out in the western region of Iran, by the border with Iraq. As a result of the devastating effect of 7,2 magnitude earthquake on dwelling regions of Iran, 530 people lost their lives as well as 8000 got injured. The casualties unfortunately led the colossal grief inside the families.

In accordance with the data the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre acquired on Friday, 65 km northeastern of Iran’s Kerman City with 500 thousand populations was shaken with 6,2 magnitude earthquake.
