Mustafa AY – TDO – 05.08.2018 On account of terrifying wildfire in ‘Attica’ -one of the important vacation spot of Greece-, Greek government immediately declared state of emergency to keep the situation under control. Once the state of emergency has just expired, Greek Minister in charge of public order -Niko Toskas- submitted his resignation to PM as a result of unremitting pressure from society mostly. So, PM Alexis Tsipras acknowledged Toskas’s resignation. According to the official statement released by PM Office, Interior Minister Panos Skourletis undertook Toskas’s duty, but that whether it’s temporary or not is not known. As known, wildfire arose in Attica took almost 90 people’s lives severely.
