GEORGIANS ELECTED THEIR FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT




Mustafa AY-TDO-01.12.18 At this week, Georgian constituent went to polls so as to elect new president of the county. In the election with %56.23 turnout, Salome Zurabishvili, former foreign minister in between 2004-5, has emerged victorious by obtaining %59.6 of votes which makes her the president of Georgia. Georgia's Central Election Committee approved the results and proclaimed Zurabishvili as “the first female” president of Georgia.
