Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Following the decision to open cases in the United States to European Union-based companies investing in Cuba, the High Representative to the European Union's External Relations Federica Mogherini said they could impose sanctions against the United States if deemed necessary.
Mogherini said that the unilateral decision of the United States was against international law. Emphasizing that they will take the necessary measures, Mogherini reminded that companies with financial losses are entitled to compensation.
Mogherini also said that he believes they can get support from other countries. As is known, in addition to European companies, Canadian business people are investing in Cuba.
