Serhat TUNAR -TDO- The European Union will apply visa restrictions to countries that do not act jointly with it on the readmission of irregular migrants.
With the recent adoption of the Council of Europe's regulation, it is aimed to develop cooperation networks on the readmission of immigrants from third countries. According to the news published in the EU Council's press release, restrictive measures will be implemented, including increasing visa fees for countries that do not cooperate with Brussels.
In addition, it is planned to provide visa facilitation for citizens of states that cooperate with the EU on irregular migrants. Accordingly, visa fees in these countries can be reduced, application deadlines can be reduced and the validity of multiple entry visas will be extended.
