News Centre –TDO- A large number of guests attended the Nevruz Festival feast in the Ankara State Opera and Ballet Hall, hosted by Chinese Ambassador Yu Hongyang.
Speaking here, Yu noted that over 3,000-year-old traditional festivals have been listed on the UN Heritage List by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2009, pointing out that more than 30 ethnic groups around the world are celebrating nevruz.
Describing the nevruzun celebration in peace and peace in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region of China, Yu stressed that the Chinese state attaches great importance to the Xinjiang region.
Yu emphasized that it will continue to grow in a stable and healthy way of China-Turkey relations, he said he hoped the deepening development of relations.
After their conversation, China's Uyghur artist Dilber Yunus gave a concert.
