Mustafa AY – TDO – 09.01.2018 Following that ex-Chief of Staff Abdel Fattah el-Sisi overthrew Mohammed Morsi, who was legitimate ruler, Sisi immediately resigned his military position in order to take presidential office in 2013. Since 2013, President of Egypt Sisi has been executing the controversial presidential office against all odds of serious public opposition to himself. He was expected to be dictator by some fractions in the country because Sisi’s coup d’etat was remembered with Morsi’s innocent proponent’s death by military forces under the command of Sisi himself. However, on Monday, the Chairman of National Election Commission – Lasheen Ibrahim – proclaimed the forthcoming presidential election as March 26-28, which might be regarded as an attempt to silence the ongoing echoes of ‘dictatorship’ in Egypt. The echoes of ‘dictatorship’ in Egypt may continue since President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi announced his candidacy to the forthcoming presidential election.
