Serhat TUNAR -TDO- US President Donald Trump made statements on his social media account after Iran dropped a United States unmanned aerial vehicle on the Strait of Hormuz yesterday (Thursday) for violating its airspace.
Addressing US citizens on his social media account, Trump said Iran had made a big mistake. Following this statement, Trump, who held a press conference in the White House on the subject, explained that the vehicle was unarmed and added: “It would be very different if there were people inside the vehicle.”
Both Iran and the US side confirmed that the aircraft was dropped. However, Iran claims that the vehicle violates its own airspace, while the United States claims the device was shot 34 kilometers from the Iranian airspace.
