DMEDD CHARITY BAZAAR HELD AT THE ANKARA SHERATON




News Centre –TDO- Spouses Association of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DMEDD) has held its traditional charity bazaar in Ankara.

The bazaar, which was held at the Ankara Sheraton Hotel was attended by many diplomats, based in Ankara and abroad, and members of foreign missions in Ankara.

Many foreign missions, including those of Azerbaijan, the TRNC, Japan, China, the Philippines, South Africa, Ukraine, Thailand, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Italy, Bangladesh and Vietnam had their own stalls and displayed their products at the charity bazaar. The charity bazaar drew great attention from local and foreign visitors alike.

The revenue raised will be used to support the DMEDD’s education fund, charity projects and social and cultural activities to publicise Turkey.

Since its founding in 1981, the DMEDD has supported the children of members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who were martyred or passed away on duty, as well as children in need and girls receiving an education in priority development provinces with scholarships.
