News Center -TDO- Croatia’s Ambassador to Turkey Hrvoje Cvitanovic hosted a reception at Ankara HiltonSA Hotel in consequence of Crotian National and Armed Forces Day.
Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, ambassadors, military attaches and representatives of Turkish Armed Forces attended to the reception.
Croatia's ambassador to Turkey Cvitanovic said that it was the first time he attended his own country's national day reception in Ankara and expressed his satisfaction with the stage reached in cooperation between Croatia and Turkey.
Ambassador Cvitanovic stated that the bilateral cooperation in the fields of tourism, economy, trade and transport are increasing day by day between these two countries.
Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Faruk Kaymakçı stated that the relations between Turkey and Croatia is in a very good level and they are aiming for at least $ 2 billion trade volume between these two countries.
Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Kaymakçı, in his speech, Croatia has pointed out that Turkey's strong friend and ally, and since the early 1990s these two countries increased cooperation in many fields such aseconomic, political and Tourism.
Stating that they always support the integration of Southeast Europe into the Euro-Atlantic system, Deputy Foreign Minister Kaymakçı said, "We are pleased that Croatia is a NATO member and that it is an EU member state that will hold the rotating EU Presidency in the first 6 months of 2020.”
Deputy Foreign Minister Kaymakçı, said that Turkey and Croatia are attempting to bring peace and stability to the Balkans. In this context, the Deputy Minister stated that the tripartite meeting held between Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
Deputy Foreign Minister Kaymakçı, recalling that the Turkish firms that invest in Croatia, Croatian companies were also urged to invest in Turkey.
