COMMEMORATIVE STAMP ON 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF TURKEY-THAILAND DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS INTRODUCED




News Centre –TDO- The commemorative stamps produced by the postal services of the Turkey and Thailand to mark the 60th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations were introduced at a publicity meeting held in the PTT Stamp Museum in Ankara.

The stamps bear images of Turkish oil wrestling and Thai boxing.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Undersecretary for Transport, Shipping and Communications Galip Zerey, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Deputy Undersecretary Murat Yavuz Ateş, PTT Board of Directors Vice President Osman Çetinkaya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Ankara Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit as well as many embassy workers and bureaucrats in Ankara.

Ambassador Ekarohit thanked the PTT for working closely with Thailand Post and contributing to the printing of the stamps.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Ekarohit signed the commemorative stamps with PTT Board of Directors Vice President Çetinkaya and other guests.

A publicity film for Turkish oil wrestling and Thai box that were featured on the stamps was shown at the meeting.
