The supporters of the Great Indonesian Movement Party leader Prabowo Subianto set fire to many cars and attacked the police with stones. A military dormitory with Molotov cocktails became unavailable, and security teams interfered with demonstrators with tear gas. More than two hundred people were injured in the fighting. National Police spokesman Dedi Prasetyo announced that 20 demonstrators were taken into custody.
As is known, voters in Indonesia went to the polls on April 17th, and according to the official results announced, the current President Joko Widodo won over 55 of the votes and won the elections.
