CARLES PUIGDEMONT CRITISES THE EU




Serhat TUNAR -TDO- CarlesPuigdemont, the President of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia, argued that the European Union was overly interested in the political crisis in Venezuela. "The EU is interested in what is happening in Venezuela, rather than in Madrid," Puigdemont said.

The Catalan leader, who considers that the case filed by the Spanish Supreme Court in Madrid is a test for Spain's judiciary and democracy, called those who want independence, "Trust in yourself and stand for your leaders," he said.
