Serhat TUNAR -TDO- For the first time since 2014, the leader of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov said that an English delegation will visit Crimea.
“We are waiting for about 15 British politicians, experts and businessmen to come,” said Crimean leader Sergey Aksenov,“The British had come to Crimea before, but these were not singular events.”
After the protests that erupted in Ukraine in 2013 turned into an ultra-nationalist Ukrainians movement and spread to Crimea, this peninsula, which is dominated by the Russian population, was connected to Russia in 2014 with a referendum. For this reason, it is extremely important that a delegation from the UK will travel to the Crimea.
Aksenov stated that there is a big investment opportunity in Crimea and foreign entrepreneurs who want to shape their commercial relations with the region are aware of this situation.
The Yalta International Economic Forum has been organized in Crimea for 5 years. The forum will be held between April 17 and 20 this year.
