Serhat Tunar -TDO- Senator Bernie Sanders, party rival of the Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016 presidential elections, shared with the public that he would run for the Democratic Party in the 2020 presidential election.
Bernie Sanders, 77, announced his candidacy at an e-mail in the 2020 presidential election. Sanders pledged to launch a broad-based movement to combat special interest groups in government and politics.
“Our campaign is aimed at creating government and economy for everyone's benefit, not just for a few people,” Sanders said.
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders entered the race as a candidate for Hillary Clinton in the Democratic Party in 2016 and his successes led to controversy within the party.
