BAHRAIN BUYS PATRIOT MISSILE FROM USA




Serhat TUNAR -TDO- Bahrain has announced an agreement with the United States to purchase Patriot missiles. Bahrain has been seen as a potential buyer of S-400 air defense systems.

Bahrain Prince Salman bin Hamad Khalifa met with United States President Donald Trump in Washington and said on Monday (yesterday) that his country will receive the first Patriot missiles and the agreement was signed between these two countries.

The Patriot Air Defense System, used by many countries around the World and also was used during the Gulf Wars and is currently being actively used by Saudi Arabia. Today, this system is used by the USA, Germany, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Greece, Israel, Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan.
