News Center -TDO- Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Turkey Hazar İbrahim and his spouse Zümrüd İbrahim hosted a reception at Azerbaijan Embassy in consequence of Azerbaijan National and Armed Forces Day and the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Kasapoğlu, Turkish Minister of Family, Labour and Social Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici, Commander of the Turkish Land Forces General Ümit Dündar, Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces General Adnan Özbal and many other guests attended to the reception.
The program started with the singing of the national anthems and continued with concerts.
In his opening speech, Azerbaijani Ambassador Hazar Ibrahim said that Azerbaijan plays an important role in all the issues of the world today. Azerbaijan's UN permanent member stressed the importance of having Ambassador Ibrahim also said, "Today in regional relations all over the world, in transport and energy no issues can be solved without Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is the center of these issues, but takes place in the framework of all these Azerbaijan-Turkey brotherhood.”
Speaking at the program, Youth and Sports Minister Mehmet Kasapoğlu, they conduct of relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan with understanding of "One nation, two states” and stated, “Today, Azerbaijan and Turkey are each other's main political partner, commercial partner and investors. Following the visit of our Presidents, Presidents of Parliament and other Ministers, we have implemented many projects. Our economies are almost interlocked with the mega projects we implement. Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline oil pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum Natural Gas Pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway, TANAP Natural Gas Pipeline and Star refinery are the most prominent projects of all of us.”
