Mustafa AY – TDO – 12.08.2018 On Saturday, thousands of demonstrators organized an anti-corruption protests against the government in Romania’s capital city of Bucharest. To be able to quell and disperse the outrageous crowds, Romanian police was mobilized immediately. Approximately 400 protestors got injured in the clash with security forces. Police forces intesified the crackdowns on protestors by firing tear gas and using pressure water. Some of 400 were allegedly hospitalized because of tear gas and pressure water that police used. According to RT’s claims, Romanians expatriates, who were coerced to abandon their fatherland, pioneered the widespread anti-corruption rally.
