ANOTHER EARLY ELECTIONS COULD BE HELD IN SPAIN

Serhat TUNAR -TDO- After the early general elections in Spain last April, the Socialist Workers Party (PSOE) came out of the polls as the first party. PSOE leader Pedro Sanchez did not get a vote of confidence from the left government, which he wanted to be formed as prime minister. The country has 3 general elections in the last 4 years, if the coalition cannot be established, this number will rise to 4.

Pedro Sanchez, Spain's current prime minister and leader of the Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), said he could not reach an agreement with the far-left Unidas Podemos because of the divergence of the ministerial distribution.

In the 350-seat parliament in Spain, a simple majority is enough for the government to win a vote of confidence. However, the second vote on Thursday (yesterday), 124 "yes", 155 "no" and 67 "abstention" as a result of the vote in Spain, the government was not established.

PSOE leader Sanchez said the problem was more about the distribution of ministries than on the government program, and that their proposal was rejected by Unidas Podemos.
